6 girls rock "male professions" at microSYST

microSYST invited them - and they came: Six young women took advantage of the Girls' Day on 25 April to explore supposedly male domains in Windischeschenbach.

LED modules and control electronics to touch

Florian Helgert as electronics technician for devices and systems trainer and Moritz Busl as IT specialist trainer guided the interested students through the day. After an obligatory company presentation with a tour through the departments, it was time to get down to business: The young students were able to get a taste of the world of LED modules, circuit boards and control electronics as electronics technicians for devices and systems (m/f/d). They then immersed themselves in the diversity of programming and the systems software developed by microSYST itself as IT specialists in application development (m/f/d).

Writing a program and "hot wire"

Learning by doing was the order of the day when writing a small program. Last but not least, an intensive insight into microSYST production ensured the transfer of what had been experienced and learnt. The final event was the "hot wire" soldering project, where the girls were once again able to demonstrate their practical skills.

The Girls' Day ended in the afternoon with a certificate of participation, a bag full of giveaways and lots of impressions. Colourful and diverse - just like the LED technology world of microSYST.
