When light-emitting diodes make eyes light up... microSYST once again welcomed a total of nine young people over two days who wanted to get to know the company and the training opportunities in Windischeschenbach in more detail. This time, the largest group was represented by vocational students from the Wiesau computer science campus. Trainer Moritz Busl and production manager Werner Weidl guided the prospective IT specialists through all departments. The main focus was, of course, on the development and production departments.
The LED displays and picking systems were just as impressive as the software developed internally at microSYST. The students, who used their autumn holidays after the Kemnath training fair to take a look at the apprenticeship as an electronics technician for devices and systems, found this similarly exciting. The trainers Moritz Busl and Florian Helgert were also available to answer their questions and - according to the positive feedback - made sure that one or two of the lights jumped directly onto the young visitors.
