... the harder it is to choose. For 9 pupils, the visit to microSYST as part of the career choice seminar was not at all spoilt for choice. The young students travelled from Erbendorf secondary school to Windischeschenbach with their teacher. They were met by trainer Florian Helgert, supported by trainer Moritz Busl, who gave them an insight into the company and career opportunities.
microSYST offers three interesting apprenticeships:
- Electronics technician for devices and systems (m/f/d)
- IT specialist for application development (m/f/d)
- Office management assistant (m/f/d)

In addition to a tour through the building and a short presentation, a practical test set-up was also waiting for the pupils: in the production area, where the entire technology is assembled, from small LED display modules to large LED displays with several square metres of display area, the young people put their technical and practical understanding to the test. They were able to light up LEDs using a small circuit. Perhaps for one or two of them, this will be the illuminated signpost for their own career choice - without any agonising.
