Austria is visiting the Northern Upper Palatinate: Manfred Petsch, Elvira Petsch as well as Nikolai Stojkovic, Managing Director, Marketing and Sales of Contra Elektronische Bauelemente Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH from Vienna, visited the microSYST team in Windischeschenbach.
The group of three was welcomed by microSYST's managing directors Harald Kilian and Manuel Rass as well as the sales representatives Andreas Hofmann and Stephan Thumfart - they know each other from successfully completed joint projects. The new sales partner Contra (cooperation with microSYST since 2021) is no stranger to Austria: The company has been a partner to the machinery and equipment industry for over 30 years. Today, the Viennese sales company enriches the Austrian market with high-quality safety components, display and operating systems, speed measurement and innovative products for door construction.
During the joint exchange of ideas and technical discussions, Contra provided information about current and upcoming orders and visions in the sales region. The focus in the neighbouring country is thus primarily on large displays for industrial applications and pick-by-light systems. "A sector that we are happy to continue to expand together with Contra," Rass confirms the sales partnership, which is off to a good start. Of course, an extensive tour of the microSYST premises was not to be missed during the Austrians' one-day stay. At the end, there was a cordial "Serwas Contra, Serwas Austria" - and the conviction on both sides that the still young sales partnership will continue to bear fruit.
