The average length of service in German companies has been slightly over 10 years for some time now. A figure that is easily beaten by this year's five microSYST jubilarians: they have an average of 15 years "under their belts".
Individually, Stephan Thumfart, Carolin Drexler and Vera Lehmann have each been with the company for ten years. Inga Helgert has been with the company for 20 years and Maren Hartmann for 25 years..
A colourful bouquet of commitment and personality
Managing Directors Harald Kilian and Manuel Rass honoured the achievements and loyalty that the jubilarians have brought to the company over the past few years.
Stephan Thumfart, Technical Sales, was already familiar with the industry when he joined the company ten years ago, having previously worked for a market competitor. Customers and sales partners alike value him for his technical expertise, which is why he has joined the company.
All-rounder Carolin Drexler has played a key role as a trainer for commercial professions since 2018, in addition to dealing with customs and export issues.
Vera Lehmann's professional heart beats for marketing - she has been contributing her creativity and energy to this area since joining microSYST ten years ago.
Meanwhile, Inga Helgert and Maren Hartmann are what you might call true home-grown employees. They both began their training as office administrators at microSYST 20 and 25 years ago respectively. After successfully completing her training and being taken on as a regular employee, Inga Helgert is now a permanent fixture in the purchasing department. Maren Hartmann has established herself as a sales assistant. In addition to being thanked by the management for a quarter of a century of service to the company, she also received official recognition from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
"You are anything but average. A colourful bouquet of commitment and personality," said Rass, sharing his delight with the jubilarians. "That's exactly why you fit in so well with us." Together we can continue to achieve a lot and work towards the next anniversary - not just for number's sake.
