LED signage system provides orientation in training and simulation centre

The Bayerische Zentrum für besondere Einsatzlagen (BayZBE) in Windischeschenbach has made it its mission to prepare operational and management personnel across organisations for special operational situations. Using the latest audio and video surveillance technology, realistic operational scenarios and situations can be simulated – from major incidents to natural disasters.

A modern LED signage system has now been installed to improve orientation within the centre and at the same time enable flexible signage for different usage scenarios.

High-tech for outdoor use: the LED system in detail

Clear orientation, good visibility and intuitive control – these were the requirements of BayZBE. They found what they were looking for right out their front door: at microSYST Systemelectronic GmbH, a direct neighbour of the training and simulation centre.

microSYST supplied BayZBE with a miline Outdoor: a line-oriented LED display specially designed for outdoor use. Upon customer request, the display was additionally equipped with a front panel in the shape of an arrow, which clearly shows visitors the location of the centre. The panel acts as a sign, with the LED display mounted on the back. The robust housing, bright display and simple operation meet all the requirements of a modern information system.

• Smart control: The user-friendly software makes it easy to import information such as access routes, welcome texts or room information – in real time and with variable customisation options.
