microSYST among students – career day of the OTH Amberg-Weiden

More than 90 companies attended the carreer day of the OTH Amberg-Weiden on Thursday, 11 may - a new participation record, according to the organiser. As developer and manufacturer of innovative system electronics, microSYST was of course there as well and received numerous students at its own booth.

There, the students mainly from the fields of computer science and engineering received interesting insights into the technological world of microSYST. The young visitors were very interested in the completely revised new displays of the miline series which will be launched this summer as well as in the components of the order picking systems. These products also provided the practical focus.

microSYST used the career day of the OTH Amberg-Weiden for the fourth time in order to present itself to young academics and to show attractive careers in the region. „For us, it means corporate and social responsibility at the same time. As an innovative company with regional roots we see it as our responsibility to offer attractive careers in order to prevent highly qualified people to move away and to promote thereby not only our company but also the region“, points out Harald Kilian, managing director and owner of microSYST, regarding his maxim in recruiting young talents.Under the same slogan the career day may probably be just as successful in the next year – perhaps again with a new participation record, but certainly with microSYST.
