Students wanted: microSYST has been on the careerday of the OTH Amberg-Weiden

Practical semester, trainee programmes, thesis or direct entry: 106 exhibitors in total were competing for the favour of the students on the careerday of the OTH Amberg-Weiden. Again this year, microSYST has been there with its own booth.

„Talking shop and networking“, confirms the management director of microSYST Harald Kilian the relaxed and effective approach to the university trade fair. With some details from the system electronics programme the ice broke very fast especially among the technically oriented young academics. Many students informed themselves about the company as well as entry and career opportunities. As expected and according to the target group the majority of the interested students belonged to the relevant courses of study, e.g. computer science, electrical engineering, media technology and industrial engineering. As regional based medium-sized company, microSYST offers promising perspectives both for students and graduates: internships, trainee programmes and thesises as well as the direct entry after successful studies.

„The human proximity and informal contacts between company and students“, says Harald Kilian again, „make the careerday a very valuable recruiting fair for us. Here, we can show you who we are, what makes us special and what we can offer the next generation as partner and employer.
