New trainees meet a new trainer

At the beginning of the apprenticeship on 03 September 2018, two young talents started their working life. Harald Kilian, managing director and owner welcomed the two new trainees together with his managing colleagues Elke Bannert and Manuel Raß as well as the responsible persons for the apprenticeship. The trainees from different apprenticeship years welcomed the "newcomers" on their first day in their new, exciting period of life - this has became a small tradition at microSYST.

Commercial and technical

„This apprenticeship is the first step into a successful working life“, motivated Harald Kilian the two trainees and underlined the often forgotten quality of a sound apprenticeship. Julia Bernhard begins an apprenticeship as a Management Assistant for Office Administration. During her 3 year apprenticeship she will learn a lot about the commercial administration and sales. And Rico Tretter begins his 3,5 year training as an Electronics Technician for Equipment and Systems. Wiring, soldering, programming and mounting cover only a part of this technical varied apprenticeship.

New trainer

Also Carolin Drexler celebrated her „start into the apprenticeship“ at microSYST. In future, she will be responsible for the commercial apprenticeship which had previously been the responsibility of the managing director Elke Bannert. Gerhard Reindl will be still the trainer for the technical apprenticeships. This is now already his 7th training year.

High training rate

The medium-sized enterprise microSYST has now 64 employees in total and 6 of these are trainees. That is a training rate of 9 percent. „With our focused apprenticeship we want to offer young people local career prospects and are actively preparing ourselves against the upcoming or already existing shortage of skilled workers“, says Harald Kilian regarding the importance of the apprenticeship at microSYST.
