LEDs are so much more than just an energy-saving light source: The triumph of the light emitting diode, abbreviated “LED”, had started way before. microSYST Systemelectronic GmbH, a Weiden-based company with over 60 employees, has been known as a pioneer in the field of LED-technology for over 30 years. Whenever someone needs to display important information in an efficient and effective manner, microSYST provides a reliable source. Thus, the company’s LED displays can be found in car parks, at tollgates, as well as in industrial production or in huge storage areas.
To celebrate the company’s economic success, the Regensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce wanted to express their gratitude and admiration.
“microSYST Systemelectronic GmbH is a prime example of an owner-managed, medium-sized company in the Northern Upper Palatinate”, Florian Rieder, managing director of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce base in Weiden stated while handing over a certificate of honour. In the context of that special anniversary, Rieder also seized the opportunity to point out the particularly innovative achievements of microSYST’s research and development department.
Additionally, Rieder underlined the importance of intralogistics as a rapidly growing key sector, as it seems to emerge into the region’s trademark field.
