microSYST on tour: Andreas Hofmann in Poland and the Czech Republic

Living the exchange - on a technical and personal level. On this mission, Andreas Hofmann, Technical Sales/International Sales at microSYST, set off on a trip to the neighbouring countries of Poland and the Czech Republic.

 

Sales partner in the heart of Warsaw

At the premises of the sales partner OEM in the centre of Warsaw, he was given a tour of the company building and, above all, open communication about the sales relationship. Successes and challenges in the sales market as well as the intensification of the partnership between microSYST and OEM, which has existed since 2001, were discussed. During the talks, Hofmann also arranged a joint training session for OEM employees at microSYST in Windischeschenbach.

 

Visit to the Warsaw Industry Week 2023

Hofmann also used his stay to visit the Warsaw Industry Week 2023 trade fair, which was taking place at the same time. Along with OEM, microSYST´s sales partner Contra was also exhibiting - a visit to the stand was a matter of honour. Both OEM and Contra were delighted with the high level of interest shown by trade fair visitors and numerous discussions - not only, but also about the microSYST product portfolio on display. The OEM team and Mr Hofmann used the time during and after the trade fair for a short training session on the MKS configuration software and the technical migration options for old and new systems. Special attention was paid to B2B/B2C Supply & Service.

 

From Poland on to the Czech Republic

On the journey home across the Czech Republic, GMC CZ, another long-standing microSYST sales partner, was on the agenda. Lukáš Zouhar and Matěj Šindler, both Sales Engineers, were pleased with the visit from Germany at the location in Blansko, right next to Brno, where the AMPER trade fair attracts visitors every year. For Hofmann, it was particularly exciting to see how the intensive training from the summer had an impact at GMC: Have new questions arisen? Are there any uncertainties? Building on this, the two parties delved into the product portfolio again, deepened what they already knew and expanded their existing knowledge, especially with regard to customer-specific requirements in the area of LED displays.

In order to ensure that not only microSYST can continue to improve, but also our sales partners, such visits are absolutely valuable - on a personal and technical level, says Hofmann, summarising the impressions of his eventful week in Poland and the Czech Republic. And he is sure to have one or two new ideas for his microSYST colleagues in Windischeschenbach ...
